About me
A full-stack developer who is just as comfortable in the browser as in the database, and cares most about what the code looks like six months later.
I build web applications end to end. On a given feature that means the screen someone actually touches, the API serving it, and the schema underneath — and keeping the three honest with each other.
Most of my work has been on production applications: software with real users, real data and a long life ahead of it. That shapes how I build. I reach for the modern JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystem on the frontend, Ruby on Rails and Node on the backend, and I'd rather spend an extra hour on a clear boundary than a week unpicking a clever one.
What I care about most is maintainability. Code that reads plainly, architecture that leaves room to change its mind, and a codebase the next developer can pick up without a guided tour.

- Work that has to keep running after launch: sensible data models, real error handling, tests where they earn their keep.
